Bring your singing voices and join in with the specially reworded Christmas songs sung by the St Clair RRA Choir (formed only days ago and looking for new talent )
Charles Sturt Council Meeting
When: Monday 14th December
Where: Woodville Town Hall
Time: 7pm
This will be council’s last meeting for 2009. We intend being there, singing our songs before the meeting .
St Clair has certainly been very visible in this week’s news and media and the latest development’s mean council at this stage is unable to ‘touch” the park.
There will now be two separate inquiries into the proposed St Clair land swap.
Ombudsman’s inquiry
We were very pleased to see the motion proposed by Independent David Winderlich to have an Ombudsman inquiry into the St Clair land swap was passed in the Upper House on Thursday December 3rd.
What does this mean for St Clair?
Rally on the steps of Parliament House
Thank you to all those who attended.
Our rally was organised to coincide with the Upper House vote on December 3rd and it certainly helped lift our public profile.
Judicial inquiry
St Clair is also now subject to a judicial inquiry which will be conducted by John Hill who represents the southern suburbs and is Labour’s Minister for Health.
What does this mean for St Clair?
Come and join us at our BBQ in the Park and at the council meeting the following night.
Your support can make the difference for saving our park.
