Welcome to the first of our Save St Clair Updates.
We hope to make this a regular Monday newsletter to keep you informed about latest developments.
Firstly, a big thank you to all our supporters.
How encouraging it is to know so many people are ready to do their best to save our beautiful community park from the developers.
We now have a web site for you to log on to.
Check it out?
Go to Charlessturtratepayers.org & our Forum at forum.charlessrurtratepayers.org
If you use facebook we also have a group page “Save St Clair Park “where you can also read about what is happening and write comments.
Why not invite all your facebook friends to join and spread the word!
Well, our hard working committee have just printed 21000 fliers for distribution to Charles Sturt council wards to encourage everyone to come along to next Monday nights rally and meeting . We would love you to assemble by 6.30pm opposite the council chambers on Woodville Road.
Committee members have also been busy painting banners.
Watch out to see if you can spot any in your local area!
We are very grateful to all those who so willingly dropped money in the hat to help us cover some of these ongoing costs.
Thank you to all those willing walkers who are together visiting 21000 letterboxes. As you can see, this is evidence of our wonderful support base.
However, we always welcome and need more helpers. Many hands make light work.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us at 0412 842 746 or log on to our web site if you have time to give.
Many people are asking about petitions.
We are currently looking at altering the wording on the header.
Please check our website for an update on this later today or tomorrow when we hope they should be available for downloading.
Watch the media for more press releases this week.
Listen to the radio and if you feel comfortable participate in any talk back sessions you may hear.
Write letters to Mr Rann, Mr Atkinson and other politicians, and, also our Charles Sturt councillors.
Spread the word!!
Keep cool, keep informed and keep informing others.
Together we will make a difference!
